does any1 know where can buy Sony Nex 5 in SG currently? i run all over but it seems out of stock. and the current nex 7 how much better izzit den nex 5? Help pls Thanks

It will be in stock by April I think. I wait until fed up, decided to go for another camera.

As for the nex7.. just more control dials for changing settings with ease comparable to a DSLR. Also comes with an EVF.

be sure to ask for Nex 5N and not Nex 5 (old model)..

Nex 7 also has weather-sealed body, better built and better grip than Nex 5N.

ya i asked ard sls,funan they also say april then got stock. i was looking for the nex 5D dual lens kit. As for nex 7 i guess e price just too exp, its just a few more funtions and e price shoot up almost 600-700 lol

As for nex 7 i guess e price just too exp, its just a few more funtions and e price shoot up almost 600-700 lol

main diff - 24mp, built in EVF, flash hotshoe mount and tri nav in the 7..
cost for optional EVF attachment for 5N is ard $400.. but u can't attach flash and EVF at the same time..

5N is already a great cam but that few functions/features makes the nex 7 is much better cam than nex 5n..

but if u dont need that extra features.. 5N is more than enough..

enjoyed my 5n nex on my japan trip
