I find that no point buying smartwtch or smartband at this stage.
Sony themselves are still experimenting on what the market likes. If not smartband would not get such a fast refresh from just 6 months back. Sw1 and sw2 also refreshing at such a fast rate, i feel the sw2 i am having is obsolete.

being real here, I honestly think that SWs are only good for looking at notifications without taking out the phone.

(recently someone made that into a ring which I think is pointless LOL)

For me because when I travel, I put my phone in silent mode, the phone vibration is not strong enough and I would miss calls and urgent messages, thus a SW is good to alert me while I am busy with my portables. I can take a peek before deciding to reply or pick up the call.

Other than that... I expect it to looks good and nothing else.

Any other uses for SW... I think none (For my case), They are plain quite useless.

This SW3 looks more like is designed for sport rather than causal wear.

While I am a big fan of Sony, sadly this time the $$ will be going for Moto 360.

my pain point of smart watch 2 is need to open flap to charge using the USB cable.

does sw3 has wireless charging???

i don't mind charge often as long as no need to open the annoying flap

To be frank, I love the classic watches... is timeless...

These are only for people who knows how to appreciate them.

^^

I believe Apple will come out with iWatch that is comparable to classic watches. Classic watch makers feel no threat from Apple iwatch just like Nokia feel no threat from the first iPhone.

After you see the iwatch yesterday, you will appreciate our SmartWatch more especially the new SmartWatch 3 which is thinner. =:p
