yes indeed. just updated my Sony S wifi ver.

Just updated. Some initial impressions
- like the new fonts
- browser is definitely faster
- keyboard/typing is also faster now
- the blue highlights are more like baby blue. Think I prefer the previous more metallic blue
- cant customise app list anymore? (i think )

No wipe. All data & files are untouched, only the android software changes.

hmmm i still cant seem to find the for applications (music player, video player) to directly access the SD card's files? :l

Can try MX video player and Poweramp. Both apps can let you choose vids/music from SD card.

i thought the update to ICS was to enable us to read files directly off the SD card using the default applications... Lol, might have been misled!
also, now Astro gives a java io error when trying to move files around..

Not sure if SG ICS allows you to do that or not cause I'm on US ICS with rooted S. I think I read it on here that they allows to read from SD card so ...

Some apps that works on previous OS didn't work on my ICS such as 8tracks and X-plore need a bit "tweaking" for it to work properly.

Turns out after ICS update, the sd card is no longer writable by normal means. You can read sd card normally but you must use file transfer app to write or delete files on sd card.

To sort apps on your homepage in single folder, press & hold one app & release it on the other app. You can input a name for the folder.

Mine have no change for wifi. I only know that the tablet does not pick up wifi as good as PC does.

Before I could pick up at 3 to 4 routers inside my house. After upgraded, can only pick up 1 inside my room. . So sad.

I have issue turn on wifi after my tablet s turn on after sleep. Need to shutdown and restart then my wifi can start again. Anyone experience the same thing?

Any app to recommend for wifi to switch on?
