Hey guys, i've got 2 issues with the tablet s. Firstly, at the sony e warranty site, i have trouble registering my serial no...i keep getting a 'please verify' message. anyone else having similar problems? serial no is just below the charging port right?

secondly, my poweramp player can detect and play my music files stored on sd card but when i go to the library to select songs, everything except the first song is listed as unknown artist/song/album. any way i could get it to read the song details as well?

FYI the correct s/n is the 2nd row S01-000xxxx-S and not the top row of 8 digits number. Correct s/n is middle set of 7 digits number

The reference no is not on the Invoice but on the warranty card for mailing.

how do you close the "windows"? I keep opening up new ones and dont know how to close them. Is there a task manager of sorts?

Skype on Sony Tablet S, Microphone problem?

Is anyone tried the Skype on Sony Tablet S?
Is anyone experienced problem with microphone?

It seems Skype works, and I can se video and hear sound from other side, but the microphone looks does not work good.
My sound is sent in very bad quality; it's barely possible to recognize speech.

Is anyone experienced problem with microphone?

Maybe you want to try the voice search app at the top left hand corner to test the mic..

Just installed PS Store. but when launch the app it say need "Account Manager" app, but when I download and install the app, nothing happens.

same reaction as u when i installed it. it's a pity that psn store not avail to sg yet lol

Been playing it the whole day and this is what i feel:

1) feels light and handy, the "folded mag" design really works.
2) the remote control function is fun.
3) feels speedy, no (uncomfortable) lag while surfing net
4) screen is not as fantastic as i expect, but watching 720p movie trailers i downloaded from youtube was very good
5) still on screen, its not as bright as what i wanted, i switched to ~1/2 of max and it feels dark already. No choice, save more battery.
6) i wish there are more widgets from the start, since i am using htc phone and got used to the wide range of widgets.
7) haven't try using SDcard. I got a OTG usb cable which enables the tablet to detect thumbdrive and QQ player can play straight from the thumbdrive without xferring.
8) music and video volume is loud and clear.
9) the tablet on the cradle is very nice, almost like a digital phone album or desk clock.

think thats all. Maybe you can ask what u want to know, see if i can help u.
