I think that's even less than the older 9000H?
Definitely less than the venerable Z9D...
Definitely less than the venerable Z9D...
Indeed the legendary Z9D is still one of the top Sony TVs in 2021 with its 648 dimming zones. That's equal or more local dimming zones than some of the current Mini LEDs e.g TCL C825 (160 zones). If its VA panel had a slightly faster response time and if there were a way to modify and upgrade the chipset for HDMI 2.1 4K 120 support on the Z9D, it would be a solid 2021 LCD TV.I think that's even less than the older 9000H?

Any idea roughly how much is the 65"?The a80 dropped a little .. but still in the 11.5k range
This is a good price. I bought a 2020 model 65" A8H in January 2021 for $4.6K I'd expect the coming (not out in Jan yet) new model to be much pricier but I was wrong.Lowest for 65" a80j I've seen so far is at 4199.
Thanks! That huge price difference...Probably around 4.2kish
very nice write up.I've finally had a chance to pen my thoughts down on the A90J:

Screen saver as in full screen? Or just some overlay? Have you tried rebooting your Android OS?Hi guys, i have 1 issue with my Sony A8G. When i switched on the TV to play normal TV channel or bluray movies, the Screen saver will pop up after 5 mins while watching. Is there any solution to solve it?
Thanks in advance.
for gaming, c1 will be better choice, for movie will a80jInteresting comparison..
Given that Sony costs more locally, the C1 is going to be a real competition..
Color purists will still want a Sony, but the C1 is really competitive...
