Tks! Was thinking of waiting to look at the w850A at first but prelim reviews at avsForums seems to put the picture quality way below the w900A so i might just pull the trigger and get this this weekend, since the 60F7100 will be removed by Monday. either that, or i wait till the electronics fair in 2 weeks' time at expo.

A lot of people thinks that electronics fair will be cheaper, in fact there is no much discount unless u looking for display sets or older model. If not, just a free gift.

BTW, Sony dont participate in Electronic fair. Only sold through retailer, so no need to wait for electronic fair to find Sony TV, you wont find it there.

On a side note, for those who have requested for wall mounting, make sure you call your retailer to confirm the timing on the day of installation.

My TV supposed to be installed by 5pm yesterday, did not take place, as the installer was too overwhelmed by the installation, have to reschedule.

Anybody know about purchase on Sony centre and dealer warranty period of tv ? Seem like there is some different for this warranty period, which is better option ?

Sony warranty for TV is 3 years registration online. as long as its bought from sony style, sony centre or sony authorised dealers like courts, best denki, etc... harvey norman also offer their in-house extended warranty

Sony centre or Sony store - 5 years. Courts, Best Denki, etc - 3 years.

has anyone tried the screen mirroring before? i have 804w but my samsung S4 can't detect the TV. using android 4.2.2 stock firmware. I can connect few months ago but not able to suspect due to the recent update to the S4.

I have the w804a too and screen mirroring is working fine with nexus 4 and Optimus G Pro. However there is lag once in a while even with my TV connected via Ethernet and the phone just 2 meters to the router. Most probably will use it infrequently to share something on our phone but don't want everyone to crowd around it.

Just had the 50w704a mounted on feature wall. Instantly my wife commented the tv is small compared to our previous 42 inch Panasonic plasma with a bigger bulky frame.

In the end have to move my sofa nearer to tv, from 2m to 1.5m.

50 inch frame less looks smaller compared to a 42 bulky plasma with frames.

However there is lag once in a while even with my TV connected via Ethernet and the phone just 2 meters to the router. Most probably will use it infrequently to share something on our phone but don't want everyone to crowd around it.

Video if mirror sure lag, even my singtel fibre also will lag. Mirror games also. But pictures for me all this r perfectly..

Hi, I tried to playback some mp4 video from my nas, the playback volume is really soft, have to increase to more than 90 to have decent sound. Anyway to boost the sound without going to level 90, can be irritating when you switch source from dlna.

Also no subtitle support on the playback?

Tried watching the tv at 1.5m, a bit giddy and overwhelming, moved back to 2m, better experience.

But at 3m, your 50 " TV will look like a 37"

I have Nexus 10 it worked fine too.

Recently upgraded my S4 to 4.3 still can't detect the TV via screen mirroring. Don't know why.. may S4 can only work for Samsung TV.

Can't detect your TV also?

The weird thing is sharing of youtube video on TV is ok. The latest version of youtube allow wireless display on TV without using cable. This works fine on my S4.

Went to Best denki yesterday, salasman used thumbdrive for for demo. Have ask him about it, he mentioned AVI, MP4 format, actually what other format is avaliable for such USB connection.
