Which Sony centre?
I went to the one at IMM. Was first told that 20% applies only to xba 10 to 40, but after he asked his supervisor, he said they could give 20% on the H3 too. Not sure whether it was discretionary, or he made a mistake the first time round.

SIC.... My Nocturnal hydra cable has arrived! No more "antenna effect" while wearing the H3. Pretty soft like my TWAG V3

Ex1000 owners, have you ever tried sealing the vent on your L/R drivers?
Just tried sealing my ex800st last night with blu tack..
+isolation +bass impact
Probably an overstatement but I'm getting the feel of wearing a full sized headphone :s13:

I should give bluetack a try when using it outdoor. Good idea for isolation :D
But at home, EX1000 really give me an open feel and good sense of open-field.

Jin elite, can hoot so many stuffs :D

Anw, you might not wanna bring the Blu-Tacked EX1000 outdoors... it'll look ridiculous when you're done with it :s22:

Also, did you auditioned the Acrux prior to your purchase? Just wondering if the Hydra might sound too warm for the liking

Dont care.... wearing H3 in the public already gain some funny look from people. Blutack-ed EX1000 wont hurt much :s13:

I didn't audition them, it just happened that NocAudio folks are nice enough to reply my email and fulfilled my request to make one with angled shure connector. I chose hydra because I like copper+silver cable which bring more clarity while maintaining the bass (like Fiio cable).

The workmanship is SUPERB and customer service is top-notch. I'm glad we have a local company that make great cables!

I recommend this to improve H3 sonically and aesthetically. :D

finally got my ass off to get something for the h3...

fiio rc-se1 cable. value for money. impression is bass abit tigtened up and not as gao as stock, which is good. seem to balance/brighten up the mids a little, which is also good for me. just that wearing wise now a bit weird. can't really loop over ear properly. fortunately my ears do have good synergy with h3/ex1000 this kind of housing shape and size, stick in without looping over ear also won't drop :s13:
