The Sharp looks nice

Most Japanese phones look nice in a way, but the specifications have been lacking for some parts.

Sony though had somewhat improved their phone specifications over the years.

Actually I think this Xperia 1 ii has actually got me excited since my XZ2. Specs are flagship worthy and it comes with a base storage of 256gb with 8GB RAM which is plenty for Sony given their phones ran flawlessly even with less.

I think if they can get the price right, this would really sell. Otherwise the next closest would be the Mi 10 Pro though I'm not a fan of MIUI though tolerable. Sony anytime if there is an option. Just hope to see the official reviews soon.

We always hear wording of the price is right. Truth be told, there is no right price for flagship phones and it will just be increasing over the years.

It will just come to individuals to judge the worth of the products for their prices.
For most users with minimal to normal usage, flagship phone prices are not worth their banks to play simple games, texting or watch shows.

But for the appreciative crowd, X1 II do offers slightly more in terms of features, even to bring back the 3.5mm jack.

True and if you look at the new Oppo's and even the Xiaomi's, the pricing is crazy especially for the Oppo Find X2 which is launching at $1,699 I think. And the Xiaomi which probably might be around $1,200 (speculated).

The last Xperia 1 was $1,299 and I am expecting the Xperia 1 ii to not be very far off from there given Sony's history. I am excited for the SD 865 and the new camera setup especially with base storage of 256GB and 8GB RAM. Let's see...

I think Sony SG knows it is never going to win the big boys like Samsung and iPhone when it comes to marketing, so the only way to attract more buyers is to put the flagship price lower than other flagship brands.

The XZ1 Compact, which had flagship SD 835 back then, only sold for $668, which is a bargain

i seee

okay , learnt something new today

i remember when the p30pro first came out, people were posting night sky astronomy photos

so i was just curious...

i didnt realise there was something called "sensor heat"

I have a P30 Pro as well. 30s is the max in manual mode. You'll want to take multiple 30s shots and then stack them. Same thing the Pixel 4 does

To add on: Unless you want star trails, even DSLR users will use a star tracker head and multi 30s exposures
