sian.. means I think I stick to HK better...

the option is not enabled in settings right?

Default is set to 5G actually, but I doubt can connect to local 5G...:s13:

But I am leaving it at 5G though...hope one day can suddenly see NR/5G...:D

so the option for 5G is there la basically lol -_-.

that was my question.

to me, 5G> VoLTE.. so I can live with HK set for now.. until SG set confirm can 5G then maybe I flash it...

But it doesn't make sense either.. the hardware is the same for both HK and SG set.. maybe just sony being lazy to certify with IDA.. hence only market for 4G

Appreciate Sony for doing the Android 11 update with actual useful functions. :):p
(11. Location always ask... 12. Auto remove permissions... 13. Sim card lock... 15. Nearby share etc...)

Yea, had actually said previously it was there. Well, in order to sell their phone in SG, they would already have to go through IMDA...so it is either Sony lazy or local telco dun wan support due to low sale?

Anyone having issue with trace together and singpass? It's just stop working for a brief moment till I restart my device.

And I notice upon boot up phone will auto turn off NFC by itself (first time when I reboot after flash android 11 and this morning I reboot) :s22:

Sent from Sony XQ-AT52 using GAGT

i tried reboot, NFC still remains on

Somehow i felt 11 slight less snappy so i went run benches.

Confirmed perf drops in geekbench(5%) and pcmark (12%), even though 11 CPU boost more often

Just to share, for those using SingTel, after a protracted to-and-fro, they finally informed me that they are not supporting VoLTE for Sony Xperia 1 ii, nor do they have any plans to support it :s13:

Can someone try to guide me on how to use xperifirm and flashtool?

I cannot seem to get it to work to flash the TW firmware.

I have downloaded the firmware on xperifirm but cannot pack them to install it..

edit: managed to do the decryption method. Now I get "Error-null" when trying to flash it in flash mode.

Also, how long does HK take to get major updates? They usually get the monthly updates first, but the android update itself is delayed...

Also, no VoLTE option to enable -_-..

Do you mind sharing a screenshot, or how you got it working? I am using Xperia 1 ii that i purchased from Sony Singapore, and a SingTel line with VoLTE enabled (confirmed with SingTel on 1688), but still VOLTE is not working :s13:

have to do manual test, since 1ii wont show volte icon.

enable volte from phone
make a call, you should not see LTE+ drop to H+

disable volte from phone,
make a call, confirm will see LTE+ drop to H+

I have done this, disabling and making a call, then re-enabling and making a call. Everytime the icon will change from LTE+ to H+ when the call is made

Is your line enabled with 4g clear voice? Also, you need to update to android 11 (the latest patch update) to make it work
