How does Sony mobile warranty work over here at SG? Is there anything like “AppleCare” thing? Sorry for the questions first time Sony user.

If you register your warranty online on their website they will give you additional 3 months of warranty

Have never needed to send my 5iii for service so I cannot tell you how their service is like

Nope just bring to Sony @313 but be sure you purchased from Sony SG / official Sony lazada store, and not other countries or overseas online store. Then remember to register your warranty.

Waa, why the process need to wait 14 days for redemption email then go collect free gift de. Last time i Pre order my 5ii got delivered with phone and free gift together. Also..:

• All free gifts are whilst stocks last.
• Sony reserves the right to replace the free gift with another item of similar value as determined by Sony in its sole discretion.

update: looks like pre-order is up too. Available from end June though

Checkout page says item is available end June. But promotion page noted to require to register product warranty from 18 May to 21 June for the gift. haha

The dates u mention is promotion period. To get the headphone is to register phone warranty within 14 days from purchase as stated in TOC but phones ship end June so probably means from date of when u receive.

I am not sure about this time but when I bought from sony few donkey years ago, they gave a Mont Blanc leather pouch that I sold off cheaply for more than hundred bucks.

Brand new because they probably don't sell enough units to justify the logistics for spare parts unlike samsung

i dont use screen protector. the glass on the phone is tougher than any other glass u put on the screen...
