I only buying this coz my mk3 dead. if still alive i would have waited for mk6 LOL

My Mk3 battery ggg already think capacity is like 2700mah now LOL The Mark5 can charge while playing games and it bypasses the battery and use power supply direct, gonna be good for overheating and the battery life as well

But got to give it to Sony.
Still maintaining the headphone jack and microSD card support, if their price is competitive and they have good marketing strategy. I bet they can give the S23U or iPhone a run for their money.

i have used Sony XZ1, then change Xperia 1.
along the way, have also tried out iPhone, ASUS, Xiaomi/Poco, Huawei, Realme.
all have its pros and cons.

For me, i keep coming back to Sony as the clean design is my preference and the whole UI is still very smooth even after years of using.
i used Xperia 1 from June 2019 till May 2022.
The battery life is now not able to sustain a day and can drain out very fast when using hotspot, thus was looking for a new phone.
Wanted to go for X1 mark IV but the processor was an issue.

hence, switched to a relatively cheaper Poco phone to try out.
Used the Poco for 4 months but experience was mixed. sometimes laggy, hang, hot etc.
Thus i gone back to Xperia 1 and just have to bring a powerbank.
Once the Mark5 is available, i will very likely upgrade!

exactly, u guys are the one that is keep sony alive. Now SG only know Samsung and iphone.

Met some diehard fans who defend that loss of SD card slot is good since everything is in cloud, and without 3.5mm jack since majority of earphones are wireless now. Whatever floats their boat.

Looking at Sony HK, they are selling the 512 GB version at HKD10499 and the 256 version at only HKD 9699 and all colours available...

They come with either Linkbud S or WH-CH720N and they still let u top up to HKD 999 for either the vlog camera grip or WH-1000XM5.

They are also throwing in free Style cover, charger and screen protector.

I sure hope SG come up with some decent freebie for selling at such markup price...

I'm choosing between this and oppo find x6 pro (which is not released globally...)

might end up getting a friend to buy either of them from HK or something in July...
