See the settings search is still white, I believe it's theme related. Go to home screen, press and hold any blank space, press on wallpaper and style. Try choosing a different colour palette and see if it works this time around

Finally made my order on Shopee (Sony official) after months of consideration! What casing are you guys using? I also read that some of you got the screen protector from mobile lite. Will be happy to hear some recommendations from you guys here! Thanks in advance :)

Looking forward to get back to Xperia as my last was Xperia XZ Premium!

Hmm...Currently using my first ever Samsung (Note 10+), but i guess you are referring to Xperia phones... so,
excluding the old Sony Ericsson models, I owned Xperia Z1, Z5, XZP, have not ventured into their newer 1-5-10 series until now. :)

Its a great casing, only thing is the side is flushed with the phone, therefore not covered. But i always put only mobile in my pocket and not mix it with keys and coins so not problem for me. Otherwise it snaps and holds tight. The surface also designed to be slightly rubberized surface (i dont think its rubber though) with great grip. Also remember to buy lens protector . Mobilelite sells too.

Software optimization helps a lot. The phone can use lesser power for less important tasks or more power when required. And tweaks to reduce background usage for certain apps and functions helps to improve battery life.
Yeah so loving it. Imagine having vapour chamber. Even better. See what Zackbuks did to his 5IV. Heat control at best.

Certainly, heat control is definitely important to prolong the peak performance. There is always a delicate balance between phone size, weight and additional space for heat dissipation.

Some users like to complain the lack of vapour chamber, but when it makes the phone bigger and/or heavier there are complaints too.

Heat affects performance.. Computers/CPUs these days push everything to the max. They only slow down when hot..

And yes.. I have tested my PC in both aircon and no aircon before.. there is a big difference
