Some updates from my 1 week of full usage. Noticed that the fingerprint sensor doesn't detect immediately after I pressed the power button to turn off the screen. Most likely something to do with the software than the sensor itself. The sensor test passed 100% of the time.

Most likely there to prevent unlocking the phone immediately after you press the button to off the screen?

Yes gotta wait around 1 second then activate the sensor again for my xperia 1II. Most likely they programmed it this way.

Yah, makes sense. Probably the delay is for that purpose. But if there's an option to turn the delay on or off, it would be better.

Can Xperia Transfer 2 transfer everything over smoothly like how Pixel allows you to connect cable to old Android phone to transfer everything?

Is there an advantage in getting an export set other than having ex-stock? Price difference quite small.

Just curious - what made you decide not to get the phone?
I've been on the fence on this one for a very long time
