can translate? lol
Not only stop using Samsung sensors for their flagship but for the whole Sony range of mobiles .

Then many mobile companies also switched to Sony sensors instead of Samsung.

I guess that the use of sam sensors was probably an old agreement in exchange for other hardware such as internal storage. Ditching those sensors and using superior in-house ones could be a better idea.

That is definitely. The number of complaints reviewers and users made is just too many haha

Would be nearly 2000$ if this is true. Is it worth the cost of a 512gb s22 ultra?

The mentality should be whether you can and want to afford any phones over 1K these days, rather then any phones over 1k are worth it. Many people are still doing well with phones that only cost few hundreds, minimal usage or even playing games.

If Sony manages to solve :
1. heater cum throttling problem (there's still rumor that only upcoming pro will get 8gen 1plus )
2. Sunlight legibility for clear outdoor shooting (great LTPO display )
3. Fast transfer speed for microsd card (at least 60mbps consistent)
4. Great photo qualities for all lens including macro and selfie (only Sony sensors and with proper optical zoom )
5. Great battery life (optimize LTPO)

And the rest of the specs maintain / improve It should be nearly the perfect phone and deserve that price a lot!! 😆😆😆

No. 1 would usually requires throttling to keep the heat down, so the most effective method is to use a more efficient processing chip than current flagship SD 8 gen 1.
No. 2 and 3 would involves more costs, while no. 4 is quite unlikely since they are normally in favour of natural photos compared to oversharpening and saturated results (which general public prefers).
No. 5 is easy, replace that 4K display to 2K or something more battery efficient. Xperia 5 series had always been outstanding in battery life while using flagship hardware.

Another heater just like snapdragon 888 ... 😑😑😑 Sony please tame the heating problem.

That will be tough. They are better off to use 888 Plus or Dimensity 9000 instead of trying to solve heating problem without compromise on performance.

Probably the agreement was signed 1/2 years ago then Sony Cant do anything about it.

But hope the core is fabricated by TSMC with improved design even though its snapdragon 8 Gen 1 .
