Took me an hour. At 3/3, the longest for me. Zzz
Any changes you noticed?

Took around 40 minutes to update. Noticed the loading of YouTube 4k video seems better.

And it looks like the periscope lens issue has been solved. I need to verify a bit more. Great news if its solved!

Need to try on daytime shots where shutter speed is faster as well as autofocus speed.
BTW the telephoto focal length seem to lengthen.. To around 45-50cm minimum focusing distance.

I also notice this update made internet browsing, loading and messaging speed (telegram) smoother and snappier too. YouTube 3 buttons glitch seem to disappear. (Need to test more though) Opening of applications is VERY SNAPPY! Nice!

Try out the telephoto zoom lens..
Personally felt 3.2x is better now. 5.2x somehow still a hit or miss..

Telephoto photos still not as great.
But wide or the normal lens is great..

Yes. Focusing still has some issues with the telephoto (I observe hit or miss throughout 85and 125mm) it seems to have improve a little, still lose to the xperia 1III. Will post some photos when I have the time ~

Finally someone posted the changes and updates this firmware address!

https://www.sogi.com.tw/articles/sony_xperia_1_iv/6258218
Sony Xperia 1 IV 經過本次改善溫控演算法後,相信對戶外攝影應該能有不錯的升級體驗,畢竟先前在外面拍照、錄影時,實在動不動就會出現熱盪問題,有點惱人。

Sony Mobile released the 64.0.A.7.8 version update for Sony Xperia 1 IV earlier, which mainly provides 3 major system optimizations, including "system temperature control algorithm optimization", "optimizing system fluency in different usage scenarios" and "screen unlocking animation" Display Improvement" etc.
After the Sony Xperia 1 IV has improved the temperature control algorithm this time, it is believed that it should have a good upgrade experience for outdoor photography. After all, when taking pictures and videos outside, there will be heat problems at any time, which is a bit annoying.

Noticing a new bug after recent updates. The status bar at the top with the telco, battery and connectivity logos can disappear once in a while.

Previous bugs that I mentioned the last time, for example the search bar of the app drawer becoming a different colour when switching within an app to an in-app browser window, still remains.

Could the second bug be anything to do with preventing burn in thingy?
