If the latest rumors are true, be prepared for the second dual lens phone after XZ2 Premium.

Hope the new XZ3 has the same dual camera with AUBE sensor as the XZ2P and has an improved location for the fingerprint sensor. :s12:

From the looks of it, it seems like the print scanner is still near where XZ2 scanner is.

Confirm will drop by few months later.
Always happen when newer phones are available.
That's how broke I am. Have to get 2 generations behind. Another reason is XZ1 still has the 3.5mm jack, unlike XZ2

On the bright side, XZ1 is only from last year and still one of the top phones in terms of battery life and performance.

And not that everyone always needed the best new phones to play the latest apps and games.

plus point is that it runs Oreo and Android generally offers backwards compatibility (even Kitkat is still supported). The screen size is just nice, not too big or small

and of course, the headphone jack

street shops no longer selling, so have to order from expansys and I am not sure what plug they use

I also noticed shops seldom carry much of the Sony phones nowadays.

By the time XZ3 is released, Sony may sell the XZ1 around the price of compact flagship.

I was also looking at XZ1 before deciding on the 2. The wireless charging won me over.
Nevertheless SD835 is still a good buy. The only thing I dislike is the smaller battery capacity.

I like the smaller screen of XZ1...5.2" is just nice for one hand use. Many phones are now >5.5" which can be troublesome for one-handed use. Also, XZ1 still retains the signature Sony 'block' design

That time I was choosing between ZX1 and XZ2.
I still like the block design as well as the back is much flush
than XZ2.

Not to mention XZ1 that time was only $8Xx really hard
not to get it.

XZ1 now retailing on expansys for only $584.99 :D
Quite a steal now.

But yeah, the block design feels better on the palms and look more professional and Sony-like than the curved back of XZ2.

Not that I like the design of XZ1, but I will choose it over XZ2.

The newer model had really differ too much in design from past models.
Maybe the ergonomics are good but it is not appealing to me.

Maybe I had enough of Xperia XZ loop design.
I'm enjoying the ambient flow now.

Agree. I don't like the new design as well. It looks too chunky and heavy. Now some China brand got even better design than Sony. =:p
