Yes, already suggest to Sony whether can put on their Lazada or
order through Sony store.
Hopefully they accept such suggestion cuz some exclusive products
are not sold at retail stores.

They have existence in Lazada already.

Long time lurker...

I got mine from Taiwan... and now I see to have issues connecting to cellular networks. Manual selection of networks finds my telco, but selecting it tell me it can't find the sim card., which in itself is ridiculous.

I put the sim in another phone and there's no problem finding a connection on auto.

Restarting my phone and it becomes impossible to connect to a network even on auto scanning.

Factory reset mitigates the issue for a while, but every time i go to a place with weak cellular network the same issue happens.

Sigh. Seems like I have an expensive brick now.

Sounds like a bug more than a hardware problem.
Did you try Xperia forum?

Yeah, found 2 other people with similar issues...

I got around mine by going into Phone Info using the good old *#*#4636#*#* and manually disabling wireless radio power, and then power it back on again, and this time it does connect to the home network.

Well I did exaggerate a bit previously. Everything else worked... just no cellular connectivity.

So weird.

Did you try downloading Internet Settings again?
Worth a try I suppose if you haven't.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Repair

Had bought an Z3 Compact tablet 4 years back about S$600.
Last week found the plastic screen protector and the display pop up/out from the right side of the tablet yet the tablet is functioning properly.
Clearly the cause of this is because the glue holding the plastic protector with the frame had dried out.
Called up Sony Customer Care for a repairing quote.
Had just received the quote from them and it is a whopping S$1,157+ which is double the original purchasing cost.
Since repairing cost is HIGH, staff had suggested to use the tablet until it is not functioning.

What a joke!

Guess I will drop Sony from my prefer vendor list.

I see that you are an uninformed individual.

Firstly, this is wrong thread for your device.
But it is not an issue.

Secondly, Sony no longer sells android tablets since the last one in 2015.

Any surviving tablets would have their warranty expired by now.
In this case, their factory would have no need to churn out parts for tablets now.

I would think the repair cost quoted would include the extra effort to find the parts required, maybe including special order to produce it.

Naturally, you can use a PC or tablet up to around 4 years before wear and tear, or it gets spoilt.
Just get a new one, no need to have grudge on a business that no longer exists - Sony tablet.
