wondering how does the charge speed of magnetic charging compare with normal usb, and does anyone have good lobang online for z2 mag cables?

a little bit worried/paranoid after my experience with a 3rd party cable... didn't realize the pins were oval/circle and i accidentally put it in the wrong way for a few seconds but that was all it took to mess up my phone (screen won't sleep, bootloop) and now it's at sony svc centre pending a hardware repair, not exactly sure what component was damaged though. be careful with the orientation of the charger, guys.

i'm not entirely sure if it's caused by the magnetic charger or that it was just an unlikely coincidence, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. anyways i will report here after i get back my phone with the diagnosis.

the wait is killing me :( anyone with experience know ~how long sony takes to service a phone?

Finally got my white unit today...no smartband from Starhub, but very goot service lah.
No time to really play with it yet to transfer my stuff over from an old iPhone 4...will pay during this week's holiday

MHL works awesome on the z2. Not like my note 10.1 2014 edition which the crappy coded touchwiz made the screen displayed on the TV cropped.:s12:

I activated the notification vibration for all my messages, WhatsApp, email and calls, and i can put my phone to silent mode, or even in my pocket at a noisy environment, I'll since get vibrate notification...very good for me which i go outdoor most of the time.

bro if u think the smartband is useful for notifications, u should really check out the SW2

My phone also sent to sony svc centre for repair for exactly same issues.:(

hmm the STAMINA mode can liken it to Greenify?

i add alot of apps to whitelist duno if still effective anot

some apps liks whatsapp, hangouts, clock etc must whitelist right

The magnetic connector discharge instead of charging when connect to magnetic dock. The phone also power off by itself after overnight charging, and had to turn on by press volume up+down and power button together. All these happen after using 3rd party magnetic cable.
