I've had to send my phone and tablets a few number of times. While some like my Z3C port flap not sitting flush took below an hour to replace, more often than not, the service is slow and it's as if they will only take action after you check on the repair status. I find this really poor. I mean the PlayStation support is really great, why can't they spread those good ethics to other departments of Sony
the cso replaced the flap for moi within 5mins...

Hi I am more or less in the same boat as you. I have the Z3C and the Z3Tab.

Battery life has been great on the phone and for my usage, I get 1.5 days of use which is really good for me. I mostly use my Z3Tab for game, video and browsing while at home but once in awhile I leech data off my phone if I need to load stuff while on the move. During those times, my phone will have 20% at the end of the day.

I leave the phone on LTE practically all the time when im not on wifi. But Starhub hasn't got the best 4g coverage so there are times it will switch to 3g. Voice clarity is good especially during the times its on 4g. The screen is really lovely to look at, if ur not that particular about resolutio. The colour reproduction is really pleasing to the eye and I prefer mine wwith the screen gimmicks turned off. It can go real bright and also dim enough to use in bed.

What I really like about my Z3C is the size. It's very pocketable, light and having a tablet around, the size complements each other

Thanks! I am going to recontract on Starhub too, looks like you also have similar issues with me over the 4G...

Went to repair after water getting into phone from the flaps. Free of charge but they say will take 7-10 working days. Oh yes my bootloader is unlock but they never say anything.

Good morning, new Z3 Compact user reporting here! Hope this phone will serve me well this time (and it has so far) :)

Anyone managed to find a Bluetooth remote for the Z3C?

My Z3C has been working really well. but recently a bit siao siao. like cannot swipe notification away. but maybe because I've been abusing it...
It is my official jogging phone. So it's taken quite a bit of damage during workouts. lol

Depends on parts availability, might take up to 2 weeks. And it's not their policy to provide loan phones. You should try to find a spare one.

Testing a MHL cable I got with my TV, quite ok but too bad that I can only use 720P with the TV even though the TV can support up to 1080P...

And as for the Bluetooth remote, I found out that those Bluetooth remotes (Action Button 3?) bundled with selfie sticks can and will work with the default Camera app. I have tested this myself on my Lollipop'ed Z3C by taking test photos and videos :)

The size is perfect for one handed use. And it doesn't hurt as m uch if you drop it on your face when using in bed. There are times when I pick up my xperia Z and find that 5' phones are a little big and the Z1 compact is a tad small.

To sum up, perfect size
