Yesterday I got caught for speeding. The officer said the penalty is 12 demerit points and court prosecution.

Anyone can advise what I should expect/what I should do? I've never been to court before..

12pts is for exceeding limit by 41-50 km/h.. go court just admit fault and accept the punishment.. :vijayadmin:

Should be court 16 day court.

Just bring enough cash for fine, approx 1K should be fine. Admit fault and do not argue, plead leniency.

Unless you have a VERY good reason why you're speeding - rushing toilet is not an excuse, don't bother try to defend yourself in court.

If not 16, will be 26N, night court.

The last guy I know was caught 90 above limit, immediate DQ 24 points and next day court case present.
