Since you have used both, any personal thoughts on what you find is the pros and cons of each?

Apple Music is more ‘western-centric’. They do have many mandarin, K Pop, C Pop and Asian music but selection and playlists wise, not as refined as Spotify’s. But of course music quality they’re better as they have spatial audio, Dolby Atmos and Lossless which are really great, especially if you’re on AirPods Pro with ANC on.

As for Spotify, I really love their playlists selection in which they will also display other playlists which are most suitable to your listening pattern or the songs you listen to most, and find comparable genres as well. Apple does also but slightly different. They also have a better range and selection of mandarin/Asian songs as well. Each person have their mileage. And as you know, they cap only at 320kbps.

So if you wish to have overall better song selection, Spotify. For music quality, Apple Music. For me, I use Apple Music solely on iOS, Spotify for both iOS and Android, and Tidal strictly Android due to LDAC support on my Sony WF-1000XM4.

And if you want or need to migrate your playlists between Apple Music and Spotify, can try this app SongShift too

I use Spotify and Tidal on my Aurender music player. For music quality Tidal is better due to Aurender player with a high performance MQA enabled digital-to-analog converter. Not sure
about Apple music.

Apple Music for the better music quality. The lyrics function is also synced with the song, so you can sing along easily. But one annoying thing for Apple Music is that some Chinese songs' titles are displayed in English, which is difficult to find.

Having used both, and switched from Spotify to Apple Music. I also use multiple platforms: Windows, Linux, iOS, Android. No issues with either platform - on Linux and Windows I use Cider rather than iTunes cos iTunes for windows is just bad.

Initial reason for switching was cost - Spotify keeps raising the prices and was starting to get expensive since it doesn't really add anything. I switched to Apple Music for another ethical reason: royalties to artistes. Apple pays more than 30x the royalties per song as compared to Spotify.

In terms of UI, it's true that Apple Music is a little more difficult to find songs. However, in terms of library I personally find them both comparable. Then again, I'm not a Chinese song person so I wouldn't know about Chinese songs. My sis is into J and K pop and finds Apple slightly better.

In terms of music quality, Apple is better than Spotify imo. My sis also concurs.

I'm on iPhone and Mac but prefer Spotify. Spotify is supported on more devices - TVs, Smart Speakers, etc than Apple. There are also more users on Spotify so its easier to share songs with friends. And Spotify's core product is Music so almost all their resources is focused on improving that product vs Apple which is just one category of product they have.
