Does anyone have this issue before?

Just changed casing + installed AIO (H100I GTX) for better air flow and the boot time is slow as ****. After the windows logo appeared it turned black screen and waited a good 15s before the log in screen appeared to enter password, and after booting into desktop, usually I can click the windows icon and boot programs like chrome etc instantly but now it kinda lags (even typing the prog name lags).

I've tried changing SATA ports and gently reseating the cables but doesn't see improvement :s22:

I don't think got anything to do with casing tho.

Long time ago SingTel IT show got fibre + alienware deal which my char bor took it up, it comes with a WD Black as OS drive and I cloned it to SSD for her so I still had that drive.

I plugged it into my rig and booted it, the boot speed is as expected of a WD black.

I'm thinking the SSD dying on me? But WTF man it's only 1 year 5 month ish with 7.5TB data written

You try disconnect the WD HDDs?

This. Power on comp with ALL drives disconnected (including external drives/nasbox/raidvox) except your boot ssd.

See if got any performance changes

I'll try later, but can explain what's the rationale? Even if got improvement but then I lost the connection of all my other drives?

Check BIOS .Ensure your SATA controller is operating in AHCI mode .

Benchmark using samsung magician utility or crystal disk .

Last resort => Change sata cable/ports for ur ssd and check ur rams as well.If nothing works clone and reformat the ssd.
