Yes, that was what I'm referring to, the headline and content description does not match.

I have emailed Best Bargain and hopefully they revert by today.

Think can still request a return/refund if the wrong model is delivered.

So...any updates? Voucher expiring today...

They hardly reply emails de... Concentrate on business at hand rather than reply email which doesnt generate income for them...

I think best to skip that 1TB. Afterall, come year end, it will be 1TB turn to get price slash, same as what had happened to 500gb ssd for last yr's BF.

Can get Intel SSD from Amazon during Black Friday if you're not in a hurry. 5 years international warranty. Their RMA process no fight. Return courier fully paid for by Intel. Collection and delivery per your convenience.

Yeah at least it seems that way, based on a user's blog review from 2014. He mentioned about arranging time slot with Fedex for collection but didn't mention about the delivery though. I'm sure arrangements can be made with Fedex for delivery, done that for my WD HDD rma.

The price to performance is not worth paying top money for those high end SSD, you can't really feel the difference based on real world usage. You'll only see the performance difference in various SSD while running benchmark software but this ain't what you're going to use the SSD for right?

Just get a reliable mainstream brand which most bros recommend here and you should be fine.

The reason for that little to no difference is due to the limitation of SATA 3 interface, remove that and replace it with SATA express / pcie interface and add in NVMe I believe things would be rather different.

Unfortunately there isnt any PCIe SSD with NVMe for consumer yet, the nearest one that is coming out soon is the Intel 750 SSD, if you really want the best for the best, that is the SSD u should go (and wait) for.

In case you all wondering for MSRP, the rumored price so far is $660 SGD for the cheapest variant or the 400GB model. That is about $1.50 per GB, u all decide. :D

Get Phoenix blade sua hahaha

That isnt even a true PCIe SSD, its basically just 4 SF controllers in RAID 0... not to mentioned it doesnt support NVMe

The RAID 0 is a bummer cos it require the RAID to POST which is a nuisance for those looking for a fast boot up time.

Unless u are doing heavy files transfer, if not it doesnt really matter...

This one unlimited budget sure can. LOL

If you really have unlimited budget, go for the Pblazer 4, 8 TB PCIe SSD (3.2GB/s read, 2.5GB/s write, 850K IOPS). I believe that thing is worth more than ur kidney.
