My friend and I have been using the MX100 512GB edition for the past 6mths. So far we are pretty satisfied with it.

BX100 is a more budget oriented ssd with slightly lower endurance and write speeds compared to the MX100. MX200 is essentially a newer buffed up of the MX100 offering.

On the BX100, as the capacity goes up, so does performance much like the MX100. The MX200 on the other hand, has consistent performance throughout all capacities.

Hope this analysis can help TS. Because I do keep watch on crucial ssd for their bang for buck ratio.

p.s. btw i got the MX100 512GB for less than 300 bucks. šŸ˜†

I currently own 3 Crucial (M4/M500/MX100) and 1 Samsung SSD (840pro) with no issues, but I would never buy a TLC ssd when I can get a MLC ssd from another manufacturer (Crucial) for less money than Samsung. And the TLC drives seems to be the ones having issues. Also, while the Samsung benched faster than Crucial I really can't feel a difference in day-to-day use.

TBH the BX100 512GB seems like a good deal to me. $279 vs $319 for the MX100, is it worth the $40 difference?

Saw that.

However, it's a bit misleading coz the heading indicates as 850 evo however, the content stated as 840 evo. :s22:

If it is truly a 850 evo, may get it with the coupon.

It show's Samsung 850 Evo upon the checkout menu. Guess the seller was just being lazy and copy paste the descriptions:s13:

Warranty period for 840 Evo is 3 years, whereas 850 Evo is 5 years.

Ok. Don't want a situation whereby I order a 850 and looking forward to it but a 840 deliver instead and they point to the content description...:s13:

Yes, that was what I'm referring to, the headline and content description does not match.

I have emailed Best Bargain and hopefully they revert by today.

Think can still request a return/refund if the wrong model is delivered.

Look like trying to clear the EVO 840 series stock to unsuspecting shoppers.
