That’s correct. Ban it once and for all. Let’s be the first for the right reasons at least once.
Yes. Ban it. But govt no courage to do so. Only tray clearing crap they dare to implement laws

I don't see a need to. Just educate our kids and set an example for them. Is that so hard? My wife and I don't smoke. When my father in law moved in on weekdays to help us with our kids, he also had to quit for their sake (and his own, he has heart disease).
Because $$$$/revenue generated... even no advertisement, company can still pay influencers...

PAP is hypocrite, want to ban smoking at HDB but at the same time don't want to impose ban to cigarettes.

Some 30 years, 10,950 packs, and 219,000 cigarettes after my grandfather got hooked on smoking, he died from lung cancer, aged 60, when I was in primary school. My grandmother, who never touched a cigarette in her life but breathed in second-hand fumes every day, died soon after, also from cancer.

My own experience with smoking was more sporadic. My first puff in college was on a classmate's light - or low-strength - cigarette, which I did not find appealing. Years later, I tried a friend's "ice blast" cigarette which had menthol capsules. It tasted less acrid because of the added flavour.

Can legally ban, but it will just encourage black market for tobacco products. Education is still the key.
No black market if there is interdiction at the borders. Sure, some will come in - but how many can afford the much steeper costs?

Ban smoking in balconies and windows of flats and houses.

Cancer risk from second hand smoke is just as bad as first hand.

Treat smokers like drug addicts. Any persons found with more than 15 sticks will be deemed to be drug trafficking and subjected to capital punishment.

The ban will never happen. In this country there are 3 industries that pump our economy: Pharma, Tobacco and alcohol. The tax sales of these 3 industry is why you sinkies living fairly good comfy life in SG. So good that none of you sinkies want to migrate or come back to SG after migrating overseas lol

Ban from young is the perfect approach. No existing smokers will complain and in time to come, the air will be better for all
