Thousand Sound's build quality and business practises are terrible. I hope they don't go with Thousand Sound.

UM maintains a much higher level of quality IMO.

I don't own customs from Thousand Sound, so don't take my word too seriously, it's just some horror stories I came across on Head Fi.

Yeah just one case though. But shows a lot about the company as a whole.

I also heard Thousand Sound builds their IEMs by replicating UE and JHA models.

Just look at UM, nothing short of perfection 90% of the time. I can safely say UM shells look better than the shells of my JH Audio customs.
