If you are prepared to 'buy' miles for travel in premium cabins rather than slowly accumulate then yes, worth it. All depends on how much you want to travel at the front of the plane.

This card no fee waiver allowed, it's written in the T&C. I don't see the point in getting it...

I called scb to complain. They said they didn't receive any other similar complaint. Maybe you should register your complaint too.

Just saw the advert for this card : 35000 miles when you apply. Annual fees of S$588.50.

What do you all think of this promo?

My argument is that by paying the annual fees, the 'cost of buying' 35000 miles is S$16.81 per 1000 miles - which is still cheaper than what people are selling for their miles at >S$18 per 1000 miles. I ever saw S$15/16 before, but they were gone in a flash. Moreover, there's no risk when you earn your own miles vs buying from someone else.

Somemore minimum annual income S$30k, very easy to apply..

This card is bloody annoying from the time I applied and now going through the application for tax payment. Has anyone successfully applied for the tax facility yet?

I'm so tired I just want to cancel the whole thing and forget about it
