Did u try this with DBS multiplier? Used to keep it at 0 coz no use, and no deduction. But recently, suddenly deducted fee and goes into negative

You can convert multiplier account to My account. It is a zero balance account. You can do it online and retain the account number. That's what I did when interest rates fell.

The zero balance thing, I have tried so far with SCB Esaver, HSBC advance and UOB krisflyer. They didn't charge me any fee.

You turn 30 yrs old or close your Vickers account ?

just sudden shock acct goes into negative, so wondering is it DBS changed something recently?

Maybe influence by RHB, I started leaving 0.01 in SCB eSaver when I dun use it, but guess it's not necessary, should just keep zero? No fall below fee for me so far though

I received account number 1 day after my application, and temporary ID and password 2 days after.

How did u receive acc no. so fast?
I applied on Monday afternoon, then after an hour received email say application is successful but i can only see last four digit of acc no.,
then after a few hours i received temp ID by email, which indicates i will receive the password by sms within one working day.
until tue afternoon still didn't receive pw, so i called hotline, and cso resend me new temp ID and pw by sms.
When i managed to log in to their internet banking, ask me set mobile key. becos without that, i can't see my full account number even after i logged in.
SO i set mobile key, AND THEN after that it says i can only log in again 12 HOURS LATER after setting mobile key.

fed up, i went down to their vivo city branch, thinking to get an ATM card for this acc, then was told this is eSaver acc, no cards will be given.

so i went to the counter to make a small deposit in order to get my account number from the teller.

They did not charge you for depositing in cash over the counter ?

Deposit and withdrawal at counter got charges. Or they waive it to appease a angry customer?

I am standard chartered priority banking customer, not receiving invite. already has esaver account,I use it for paynow service linking to Google pay to make payment.

I just deposited 50k to my esaver to earn some interest till Jan 23, easy money why not.

Maybe I remembered wrongly.

My esaver was opened years ago. I remembered telling myself never to go for counter service.

Years ago I used to get CO at Ion branch then deposit CO into HSBC @ Liat Tower for roadshow promo.

Sometimes I also shun bian withdraw some "petty cash" (only once I deposited some notes), all charges were kindly waived

Can call up hotline for your account number?

All my fave SCB branches near me closed down liao. I have to travel more if I need to visit them. sob. Missed the nice service lady at taka branch who served my cup of coffee.
