just need to remember:
- base interest by last day of month
- bonus interest by last day of month
- exclusive bonus interest by 20th of the following month

Just to add. Ideally that is the case. In practice not always. At least that was my experience. In other words Bonus Interest do NOT always come in by last day of month. This is the reason why I got in touch with the bank. They could not explain why, but assures that all tranches should add up to make the total interest expected.

 that's really weird for your experience. mine was zhun zhun on the last day of Feb and Mar (I shifted back to HSBC for April) but now I'm back in eSaver for May.

anyways, as long as the bank accounts for it for you, I supposed nothing more to worry about (or what we can do).

banks these days... under a lot of 'stress' I think. just look at what happened to DBS yesterday.

I have posted earlier. CSO said in a situation like this look out for the Exclusive Bonus interest tranche coming later in the month. The different tranches should add up and make the total 3.75% interest or whatever promo rate one is on.
eSaver lauched public Apr to May 2023 BI promo with Mar 2023 as ref month.
If you are on the exclusive invite scheme
1. If your Apr2023 ADB is lower than Mar 2023 ADB, you will not receive exclusive bonus end of Apr. The full exclusive BI will be paid by 20 May 2023
2. If your May 2023 ADB is higher than Mar 2023, you will receive partial exclusive BI on 31 May and the balance by 20 Jun 2023

If they ever continue with a new promo for Jun & Jul ADB with ref month May 2023, then the partial exclusive credit on last day of month for Jun and Jul will be comapred against yor May 2023 ADB. The balance by the 20th

I have particpated in eSaver exclusive bonus interest invite pre COVID and post COVID, their BI credit is accurate to the cents .... they never eat any of my monies :giggle:

do you know how is the calculation % for the 3 interest credit add up to total 3.8% ?
- base interest by last day of month - 0.05%
- bonus interest by last day of month - _____%
- exclusive bonus interest by 20th of the following month. ____%

With the same amount in esaver acct for March 23 & April 23 but the bonus interest credit for Apr23 is way lower than Mar23 (12x times different).

How come ?
If you are still interested to find out how much exclusive BI SCB credit end of month, refer to post #4280. Remember to adjust the Ref Month based on the public promo and your exclusive %.

If not, just chill and wait for 20th of the month. All should add up to your expectation.

Well you can still earn the bonus interest for 20+ days, so long as your March '23 balance is lower. Of course the total interest earned is going to be lower than if you had the money in there for 2 full months.

If you look at it scb seem to be targeting some segment of their vip customers. I.e firepower on this group so they may think no need waste time on the general segment of customers who keep going in and out with their funds based on promotion. All these are marketing strategies.

Seems like there is an update to their mobile app. Also received an email invite to feedback via video call on SC Mobile Experience and receive $50 e-voucher.

Anybody has problems changing the transfer limits on their account? I have re-registered for the mobile key but it’s still not working. The email said I have registered for the mobile key successfully and I could use it 12h or 24h later but it’s still not working. I can only transfer $5000 out every day.

Will the bank transfer all my money out for me immediately if I close the account?
