Actually, does anyone know what is the criteria for them to extend the exclusive bonus thingy ?

So far, they still extend the exclusive bonus to me for the last 3 cycles (different month period and at different rates)....but my current one is ending in Aug-23, also dun know if they still have this promotion running anymore comes Aug...:(
Mine also ending in August. Have yet to receive any offer

Kewangan laporan menulis FED mungkinnya kakal naikan kadar faedah pada satu suku peratus
pada Julai, oleh itu,Saya berfikir SCB mungkinnya kekal faedah tinggi untuk hadapan melihatnya….
what do yu ppl berrasa.?
Don't think so. I think SCB already has too much cash on hand.

Exactly this and I suspect loan demand is not high and therefore why the FD rates are coming down. OCBC and UOB reduced their FD rates in the last week, expect the bank rates to be worse off than T-bills and SSB in the near term

For Exclusive invite promo 4%,
Q1. Correct.
Q2. Yes. Your exclusive BI will be 3.95%*your June ADB, credit to account by 20th July.
Hi bro check with you. In ahchan's example, if June ADB were more than the reference month, will get both the bonus interest on the 1st of the July and the exclusive bonus by 20th July? Or still only get the exclusive bonus only?

I joined. Haha. At least it is a channel I can give feedbacks as compared to calling their useless CSO. By the way I felt that the sc mobile app with the new features had improved a lot. More user friendly and powerful. Now can delete scheduled payment easily

If your Jun ADB is higher than reference month ADB, u will rec bonus interest for the difference in ADB on 1 Jul.
The remaining bonus interest will be credited to your account by 20 July as Exclusive Bonus Interest.
In other words, the 2 bonus interest payments will add up = your Jun ADB*bonus interest %.

Thanks! Is it correct to say that regardless of whether ADB is higher or lower than the reference month, the total bonus interest amount will be the same?

Anyone knows how SCB determines who gets the 'Exclusive Bonus Interest' invite?

Anything we can do to guarantee get the invite? Thanks!

No one will know the algorithm I guess. We can only guess. For my case, I transferred all my fund from esaver A to esaver B then I received the exclusive bonus interest invite for my esaver A. Not attractive to me coz it needs me to have my fund in esaver A at the end of June to be higher than end of May. I rather stay put with the public interest promo at 3.4%

Actually, the fund in esaver A may not need to be always increasing to be higher than reference month.
If you are on exclusive bonus, even the ADB is less than the previous month, it just men 0 interest for the "bonus interest" portion (every 1st of month). but when come 20th of the month, SC will pay the whole lump sum in server A based on the given interest rate of the "exclusive bonus" offer.

I think what he meant was that there was an initial requirement by SC for his esaver A to be higher in June compared to may, in order to qualify for the exclusive bonus interest for subsequent months beyond june.

My offer was this and the mechanism is different though:
<ADV> Earn up to 3.5% p.a. interest on your e$aver balance (capped at S$5mil) from now till 31 Aug'23. To qualify, ensure the month end balance in your account ending XXXX during Jun-Aug'23 is not lower than the balance on 31 May 2023. Speak to your RM or visit our bank's website and search keyword #jn23a for T&Cs that apply. Insured up to S$75K by SDIC. To unsub on SC Mobile or Online Banking: Go to "Other Request" under Help & Services.

Okay. I think your offer seems to be different from the usual one, where they did not mention that the ADB must be more than the reference month (in this case May)...
