So try and let me get this tactic:

You have two accounts, Acc1 and Acc2.

Acc1: $x + $1000
Acc2: $1000

I transfer $x from from Acc1 to Acc2 and I get the extra % interest on $x for 2 months.

Acc1: $1000
Acc2: $x + $1000

2 months later, when there is a new promotion, I transfer $x from Acc2 to Acc1 I get the extra % interest on $x for the next 2 months.

Tio boh?

yah, it's supposedly that simple, except that whether the $x must go through a different bank is debatable, since they say it must be "fresh" funds.

someone earlier say no need, some say better to be safe when it comes to arguing with the bank in case the bank don't recognise... idk. I just do the latter to avoid any argument.

The term fresh funds is pretty murky. If they really want to cover up all the loopholes, im sure they can also easily track the thirdparty account you used and deny that interest also

any bros here know how to check our Sept Average Daily Balance? Can check through their IB?

From IB, you can figure out the balance for 1st Sep 2359hrs, 2nd Sep 2359hrs, etc.... till 30 Sep. A simple average of that 30 numbers is your ADB for Sep.

Unfortunately, IB does not have a "magic" button for u to press and compute that for u.

Alternative is to call CSO and ask them to calculate them for u. I believe they have a template (perhaps excel) to plug in numbers to calculate ADB.

SCB (and most other banks) have FAST, and FAST is free (for now at least), so transferring via another bank is easy.

How to increase FAST transfer limit to above 50k?

FAST transfer is max $50k per transfer.
However, u can do multiple FAST transfers subject to your bank's max daily limit.

Most priority customers have $100k as their max daily banking limit. hsbc allows up to $1mil.

Thanks!

I vaguely remember they will send me the monthly statement with the ABD inside but lately i did not receive the letters anymore.

The limit is only 50k but std chrt allows up to 100k for FAST.

But other banks do not.

Thus, you need at least 2 other banks to transfer fund around.

Hope this help.

u mean scb privi or not privi, both 100k for fast ah?

If your account balance is maintained consistently, wouldn't it be straight forward to calculate?

Std chrt know by covering the 'Loopholes', a lot of funds will be gone. Her deposit asset will be having shortfall for loan.

I believe as long as a significant number of accounts are maintained, this promotion will carry on.

If numbers of accounts become 50-50 (half full and half minimum balance), SCB will definitely scrap the promotion.

Does anyone know if it is possible to "rename" or set "nicknames" on the various bank accounts at SCB? I want to differentiate between the 2 eSavers to make things easier to remember. I can't seem to find in iBanking if there's such a function.

Does anyone here have 2 eSaver accounts in their own name?

Today I tried to open 2 eSaver accounts in my own name but they said that maximum is one eSaver account in own name. I also have a 2nd eSaver account in joint name (but that's used for another purpose).

Who are they?
Nonsense, you can open as many as you like, in your own name.
