Received app push notification at 3.02pm today for May invite.

2.7% from May to Jul 2025. Eligible if deposit fresh funds min 100o in May. By invite only.

At least they now offer invite higher than public rate.

Oh .... thanks for the heads up.

Did not receive app notification but via email. Same terms - 3 months 0.05% + 2.65%.

My colleague received a slightly different invite - 3 months 0.05% + 2.75%

They also sent email at the same time. But I saw the app notification and realise much later have email.

Looks like they still maintain a batch A and B. I am usually under B with lower rate.

For those who received the invitation, for the 100k deposit, can we withdraw from one account and re-deposit to another account to enjoy the promotion?

Nobody knows and needs to wait for those who have done so and receive the first bonus interest with (1/3). However, by then it is too late for participating in this invitation.

no, inivitation applies only to 1 acct under your name. (1 person >= 2 esaver acct)
unless you r saying 2 pple with 2 invitation. Then why even ask in the first place.

This is not true. Invite usually refers to accounts where you are the primary account holder, and usually you need to activate the promotion by topping up 100k by month end.

Unless it's promotion to extend a past promotion you participated in. Many people of the past could have multiple esaver accounts with joint names, that they are the primary account holder. SC do not allow such new accounts to be created anymore.

Totally agreed. I have 2 esaver accounts opened donkey years back and the invitation email din state particular of these 2 accounts unlike last time when they specifically mentioned the last 4 digits of the account number in the email. Hence, both are qualified.

Cannot assume you are the primary holder for the joint account. Depends on who is indicated as the primary when the joint account was opened. Usually is the first name indicated. Best to call and confirm.

Ever hear people open joint account tell the bank officer does not matter who is primary and leave it to the bank officer.

For esaver joint account I am the primary (called to confirm many years ago). But for my HSBC joint account, I am not the primary because can only get the welcome gift if the primary is the other joint account holder.

There is no need to call, check your app or your statement, the first name is the primary name. This applies for SC for all account type, deposit, investment, cards.

This thread is not referring to HSBC, so best not to discuss it here to create confusion between how different banks handle joint accounts.
