yes... only need a few hundred worth of equities in securities trading account - just leave it in there permanently to qualify for "wealth holding" critieria. I received public BI of 2.6% for June balance (off by a few dollars).

except probably the last mth with 2.65% .. next month cycle think around 2% only..

Good way is higher interest if more wealth holdings. +0.1% more if hold 10k, up till 0.5% more if hold 50k or more.

I think u need to fill the w-8ben form and fx sgd to usd before u can buy. Not sure about the trade charges but that’s quite an important consideration if u r trying to spend the least and qualify for the wealth holding criteria

Under equities will be counted. Now the price is 1.135 for this counter. U can buy 88 units and that will be slightly below $100. Actually the minimum unit to trade is 1 unit.

You won't know if they are using only the last day of the month balance or average daily balance across the whole month leh.

You can move yr fund to ocbc 88 days top up campaign, 2.28%. I think the next round of Maybank and Esaver rate will be lower than this. Last day 31 Jul
