yeah, i'm looking to switch some of my esaver funds to SSB - SBMAR18 giving 1.42% for 1Y is a far better deal than this

i just 'renewed' a while ago... at 1.1% @ 50k it's still the best free-and-easy account without any lock-in.

in the meantime, keeping an eye on SSB April or May.. see how it goes.

I think they comparing with 1 year SSB (at least for me) which is not so high back then.

Yep they comparing with the SSB now, which is around 1.3-1.5%.. just saying all along esaver also wont have beaten these kind of rates.. but maybe they were hoping esaver would raise the interest rates by a lot
