just hoping they don't apply the bonus interest to just the es acct with 1k bal.

2nd single esaver hard to open. i try to apply but failed..need to use joint acct holder

eagerly anticipating e rates..should go up from 1.45

hard meh? I just applied online and it was instantly opened. but that was like a few months ago.. did they get stricter? maybe they did since the interest rates seem to be constantly dropping (drop 0.02% this time)

No, I didn't close any off. After the first acc's promo expired, I transferred everything out (leaving behind the min 1k) to Dash or 3rd party, then next day transfer to the second acc. Right now I'm getting the interest for the second acc. If the promo renews in Feb, I'll see if I get the interest with the first acc by the end of Feb.


I hope they don't close off this method or I'll have to use CIMB again.

Can you open 2 e$aver account with the same name? Or is one e$aver account single name and the other joint name? Thanks.

1st eSaver was opened few years back when i visited the branch. Recently applied another eSaver through IB and was opened instantly.

Both under my name, not joint.

so far they seem quite accommodating .. usually there is grace period, but so far have not kenna penalty

I sent email telling them to downgrade me instead of charging penalty
