If transfer from one Esaver account to another Esaver account whereby both accounts are under different name, will it be considered as incremental fresh funds? Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before.

I personally forego that one day's interest and transfer to another bank's account, just to make sure. I use CIMB Fastsaver for that purpose, so I lose slightly less interest.

Hijack thread. If I do not have any asset under management, only e$aver that is under 200k, will I be charge $50? Yes my account log in website still show PRIORITY on top right.

I am emptying my esaver tmr.
I was given priority last year. I did not ask for priority, not keen.
If they are going to charge me fee, will tell them to take away this priority thing.

Im also doing that currently but it is quite a hassle.. sometimes the other bank officer will call me to question why i TI and TO.. lol. If possible better to transfer directly..

at just 1.38%, might as well go with SuperSalary got 1.40%

Looks good except for the following charges. Anyway to bypass this charge?

Non inward credit fee S$5*
*Non inward credit fee will be charged from the fourth month after account opening, if there is zero or less than S$1500 credit received into the account

One more question on the Super Salary bonus interest promotion. Referring to the below T&C clause (5d), does it mean that I just need to deposit a one-time fresh funds of any amount between 9 Jan to 28 Feb 2017 and I will be eligible for the bonus interest on my total ADB for a period 12 months?

"To be eligible to earn the Bonus Interest, you must deposit fresh funds into your SuperSalary Account during the Promotion Period. For the purpose of this Promotion, fresh fundsmeans funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of the Promotion Period; "

Only the incremental dollars (compared to your average daily balance for Nov) will qualify for the bonus interest. So, if your ADB for Nov is say $45k, only $15k (60k-45k) will qualify for bonus interest.

now with the new rates from 1Feb-31Mar, just to confirm 1.28% interest pa will be earned on incremental balance (over Jan17) for 2 months for balance over $50K.

Apologies this has been asked before

Once during the promo period and once every month thereafter to earn the extra 1.3%. That's how SS works.

if don't have salary credit, have to credit at least $1500 every month to avoid non-inward credit fee

corrected

Har? I do it with internet banking. I've been doing some ins and outs but so far no phone call, except once they cold called me on insurance.

Hmm, maybe they are afraid of money laundering...

It is just part of their AML protocols.
