If I sign up an eSaver acct as a requirement so I can open a securities settlement account then I bought shares using their SSA then subsequently leave behind let say $1 in my esaver acct (so it is below their $1000 of minimum average daily balance), what will happen in such a case? Will they force sell my shares or what?

Deduct 10 dollars every month. As long as esaver less than 1k they just deduct.

Left $1 how deduct $10? Cannot be they make the acct go into negative balance right? Or they deduct from the units inside the SSA :(

that's wrong. they will just deduct whatever is left in the balance. I left 0.01 in there and the next month it's gone ;)

Yeah. Basically if you leave your balance at zero, you are closing your account. You have to pay $10 to reactivate it.

There was no $10 reactivation fee as what you have mentioned. My zero bal account was tagged as dormant for awhile but I was surprised some incoming funds could still come in (my friend paynow me and It went through). So the moment those funds came in, I was charged a fall below fee when we cross the month end. Anyway the cso managed to waive off for me when I called in.

You didn't get charged any fall below fee?
