After promo ends,

Step 2: UOB to eSaver

After promo ends...Repeat step 1

Now...

Step 1: eSaver to Other Bank to eSaver

Do you guys maintain the minimum balance required? Or just pay the penalty?

u referring to esaver? keep $1000 to avoid fall-below fee. Priority no need to maintain min.

I think:
Withdraw from esaver A to other bank account and deposit back into esaver A -> Not counted as fresh funds.

Withdraw from esaver A to other bank account and deposit back into esaver B -> Counted as fresh funds.

I confirmed this over online chat. If you open a new esaver account online and deposit funds from another bank, confirm counted as fresh funds.

If withdraw from esaver A to other bank account X, then from X to another bank account Y, then from Y to esaver A, this one should be counted as fresh fund?

How come need to work like money laundering in order to earn little interest

To be safe leave 0, they cannot deduct anything. If you leave less than 1k, they can deduct.

I thought if got penalty to deduct but your account balance is 0, it will go to overdraft?

Savings a/c don't go overdraft. I have kept zero balance bonus saver account from long time, no problem. I use it occasionally to transfer in and transfer out as it is linked to some of my brokerage accounts. Too lazy to change.

yea, need to do this : "from esaver A to other bank account X, then from X to another bank account Y, then from Y to esaver B"

or just: "from esaver A to esaver B"

Seems to work for some here. ...

1-2 years ago could easily create another eSaver acc online during working hours

but now some ppl say cannot

both works

I operate 3 esaver accounts - one in my own name and 2 in A and B names. The soft tokens with me while B's physical (card) token also with me.

But I don't move funds within the 3 accounts, they will go through other bank.

Interest, base or bonus, is calculated on daily balances. I guess the bonus interest is calculated on the daily balance less ADB in Mar, capped at 1 mil during the promotion period.

Take note that scb physical token cannot be used for transaction signing, eg fast large sum of money, adding payee.
