I complained before in this thread last year. I was invited only recently to their 3.8% one. I took that up for a month when I moved funds out from the RHB promo. Otherwise my esaver is always minimal 1k or so. So not sure how their algo works to trigger this latest invitation.

Also based on this thread's collective experience, how soon does a new esaver account get an invitation for the higher interest rate? For context I currently only hold SCB Spree Visa and I am looking for some place to deposit after leaving RHB PP on 1 March. Thanks

Very likely public ESaver rate is going to be 4 or 4.2% for their April to end May promo period.

May I know your previous invite cycle was which mth to which mth ?

Is it your previous cycle has ended that's why you get a new invite cycle Mar to Jul 2023 at 4.2% ?

Because others seems to be getting extension at 4% while yours is a new invite cycle.

Can share which mth you funded and how much ?

Yes, the 3.80% no need invitation but will end 31 Mar 2023.
I think the 4.20% invite is over. It was for period 1 Feb to 31 Jul 2023.
The latest invite is 4.00% for period 1 Mar to 31 Aug 2023.

Account opening took approximately 2 business days for me (opened in late Jan).

So far only those invited with 4%, if you create a new account now, depends on what the next cycle interest rates could be.

Incremental means current balance compared to ADB for the month before the promo. For example, the next promo will be for period 1 Apr to 31 May 2023 (usually 2 months for those not invited). If your ADB for month of Mar is $0, then your full balance in eSaver will earn bonus interest for Apr and May.
