I am on 3.8% invited but up to end May only, think even there's extended invite will probably have to wait when its near to the end date.

Maybank iSavvy also until Apr only. So you need hope both banks instead after Apr haha
I need to hop my funds to another bank if SCB never extend promo.

I guess rates will be lower at 3.2% to 3.5% after April but still good enough

I am hoping HSBC EGA continue the promotion next month. I am currently in the last month of the cycle and keeping a very low balance in the account.

OCBC 360 is a good choice if you have only 100k to manage, you get 4% EIR on 100k without CC spend with salary credit and just increase your balance by $500 each month.

Hi if u don’t mind May I ask how it works?

I in the EGA for Jan to April.. when can/should I take out all funds to cause a low balance and baseline amount for the next cycle? Thanks

Apr will be the base for the 4 months cycle of May-Aug, provided HSBC extends this promotion.
So it would be good to very low or close to min balance for Apr.

But if the previous cycle ends on Apr, most likely the bulk amount would still be there in the whole of Apr to earn the bonus. So to participate for the next cycle in May, either use another HSBC acct or if still using the same acct then will need to withdraw left 2K and deposit the remaining bulk to another bank promo for the mth of May so that the reference month is the low 2K for May and then trf back the bulk back in Jun. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Agree, this approach is also fine.

I worry the next cycle (from April) the rates will drop because the FDs all dropped

my current cycle coming to an end this month...

Same. But with the everyday+ 1%, I think it will cross 4%.

For iOS can don't upgrade and still use? Android confirm cannot which is why I need to change phone. POSB just keep nagging but still let you login
iOS actually SCB Mobile doesn't force you to update.

If you don't click on Learn More or don't go App Store to manually find the update, you can still use the older version which I am still.

you wish ah.

its the improvements to the public rate. not other exclusive promos that are assigned to others.
oh i am surprised because I think i read somewhere like if the rates go up, it will also apply to you.

"6. Notwithstanding Clause 5 above, in the event that the bank offers to the Bank’s other customers holding Eligible Account(s), a bonus interest rate higher than Bonus Interest Rate (“Higher Bonus Interest Rate”) for any e$aver bonus interest promotion, indicated on our website as open to all Eligible Account(s) held during the Bonus Interest Earning Period, your Bonus Interest for that month will be computed at such Higher Bonus Interest Rate, subject to these terms."

Nevertheless, SCB rates is just my 'holder' for funds 1-2 days each time. The bulk always stays in HSBC EGA for now since rates are still higher in HSBC EGA. So I won't fight it.

to be honest, I would not be surprised if I am already getting 4.0% p.a. instead of 3.8%. Let's see what I get for End March 2023. The 4.0% p.a. promo started in March 2023 right?
