Yes my thoughts too. There should be an 'Exclusive bonus interest' mid month.I received two crediting of interests:
31/03/2023 CR INTEREST SGD x.xx
31/03/2023 BONUS INTEREST PAYMENT FOR THE PERIOD 2023-03-0 SGD xxx.xx
however, both did not add up to 3.8% of the ADB for March, but 3.754%. I'm on the invited 3.8% which is based on full balance and not incremental balance. So I'm short of 0.046% (a few dollars).
I expect them to top up the difference by 20 April... based on previous months' trend. "Exclusive Bonus Interest Promo Interest for MAR23 (08 of 11)"
In fact I wasn't expecting the bulk of the bonus interest to be paid yesterday (31 March). Once again, it baffles me how they split the bonus interest into two parts.
they dont really "demote" you once you hit priority status even if you empty your accountif i am already existing priority cannot get the 4% promo right ?
not sure why when i log in online banking i can still see the priorty label although i have moved all my funds and loans out years ago
I think earlier reader better. In that case, I will keep my funds in iSavvy until 30 Apr. Transfer all to eSaver in 1-31 May. And then move it back to iSavvy in June if they have a good deal. (iSavvy ADB for May will be zero).
Did I miss out something? i see total of 3.8%.Ok, isavvy still better no priority also 4%pa
If not wrong, I think the prevailing rate is 0.4% if more than 200K in acct. So effective is 4% (3.6 + 0.4)Did I miss out something? i see total of 3.8%.
saw it mentioned …..Illustration for iSAVvy Savings Account: 3.60% p.a bonus rate assuming Incremental Average Daily Balance of S$10,000 + 0.20% p.a. prevailing rate.
im on the 4% invite, only receive the 0.05%

2 . When can I expect the bonus interest to be credited to my account?
We will be crediting the bonus interest to your account latest by the 20th of the following month. For example, for the month of March 2023, bonus interest will be credited latest by 20 April 2023.
im on the 4% invite, only receive the 0.05%

This one as well as earlier invite dont have reference month, should applies for full sum and not incremental balanceanywhere in the TnC that says what is the "Reference Month" to compute the "Incremental Balance" for the Bonus Interest ?
asking bcos I was on the Aug2022 promo, offering 3.8% from Dec22 to Jun23
... however, CSO say my Mar ADB is compared to Jan ADB to compute the Bonus Interest.
The TnC back then never say anything about this and I thought it is 3.8% throughout the whole period.
This one as well as earlier invite dont have reference month, should applies for full sum and not incremental balance
why not use hsbc ega which gives higher 4.5% ? am i missing something ?I think earlier reader better.
1. Apr iSavvy left 500 all go into eSaver
2. Apr,May all inside eSaver which compared to Mar ok for me
3. May if iSavvy announces new promo highly likely it is based on Apr ADB. At point 1 you only maintain 500 in Apr so you can continue
Above assume iSavvy promo starting in May is based on Apr ADB.
BI should be credited by 20th Apr. Were you on the invite also before this invite?im on the 4% invite, only receive the 0.05%

I'm also in the Aug 2022 to Jun 2023 invite. For end Feb 2023, I received only the 0.05% interest. The BI was credited on 16 Mar 2023 in one lump sum. For end Mar, I also received the base 0.05% only. I think the BI should come in by 20th Apr.anywhere in the TnC that says what is the "Reference Month" to compute the "Incremental Balance" for the Bonus Interest ?

yup. its confusing because the bonus, exclusive bonus are credited differently for certain months, for different invites / public rateBI should be credited by 20th Apr. Were you on the invite also before this invite?

Sometimes we are clearer than bank staff.thanks ... that's what I thought !
but the CSO Jay keep quoting the currnt eSaver promo .. when I pressed for further clarification, the chat was ended abruptly !
all these exclusive invites & version etc etc really confusing to customers and their own staff

Don't bother. Just wait till the exclusive interest is credited on 20th. Add all together and tie to your expected interest.I had 6.4k ADB for Jan2023 and 82.3k ADB for Mar 2023 (not funded in Feb23)
on 31 Mar, I received $3.49 being the 0.05% Base interest on 82.3k
another $241.7, being 3.75% * 31/365 * (82k Mar ADB less 6k Jan ADB)
soomething does not seem correct ... or i dont understand how that "Exclusive Bonus invitation" works![]()
2k minimum balancewhy not use hsbc ega which gives higher 4.5% ? am i missing something ?
