I am aware of the straight forward way. The thing is some of my other funds only come in along the way, hence this scenario. I only worry the other 'along the way fund' does not earn the bonus 3.8% due to the incremental thingy coz I'm not too fully sure how it works. Or it doesn't matter coz it will only based on Mar as reference month so whatever fund in during the 2 mths will still earn 3.8%. I did tried to live chat with SCB but they just copy paste the TnCs and ended the chat very fast even before I can finished typing. And this is not the 1st time it happened.
Any time you have extra money on hand between 1 Apr and 31 May, just park in esaver and it will earn the 3.80%. Any time you need money, just withdraw whatever you need and the rest in esaver will continue to earn the 3.80%. Bascially, at the end of Apr and end of May, it will compute the ADB for that month to give you your base interest and bonus interest.

Where is the notification in the new app ?

Used to be I can read notification without logging in previously. But I can't find it anywhere now even after login.

Also can't find where to send message. The top right points to myRM only.
I tapped on myRM on the top right and then tapped on the RM to read the msges. After that, the next time I tapped on myRM, you can see Notifications for Banking and Marketing.

Thanks ! Got it.

Previously myRM and notifications were separate. Dare not tap myRM as I thought it would route to chat with RM.

very confusing.
1. I log in SCB internet banking (web portal). The logo on the top right is Standard Chartered Priority. But there is no mentioned of my RM name
2. If I log in SCB phone app, the top right is a message box (enclosed 2 dots and a short dash) and when I click on it, 2 tables Notification Tab (Banking and Marketing) and Contact Us Tab. There isn't an option for RM for me to click

So am i still Priority?

immediately beneath the CONTACT US tab is a bubble with 2 dashes .... Click to Chat with a Live Agent and then further below "you might find these useful" .... FAQs and then Digital Services.

I did receive a email about a year ago that my RM left the bank, after which did not receive any notification about any replacement. Perhaps this is the reason for no RM display :)

“For the avoidance of doubt, any deposit, withdrawal or otherwise transaction in relation to your Qualifying Account(s) that takes place on the last day of a calendar month, falling on either a Sunday, a public holiday or a bank holiday, will not be taken into consideration for the purposes of the Bank’s computation of ADB and crediting of Bonus Interest.”

It only affects the last day of a month, not normal Sundays, correct?
If the last day of a month is either a Sunday, a public holiday or a bank holiday, all transactions will be regarded as the next day?

When I click on banking tab under notification, it shows past messages. Showed several changes of RM assigned, the last one 2 mths ago.

Do you have these ?

Nothing ... only the notifications for my credit charges for the past few days as I have deleted most from my Notification Inbox

Anyways, I just click on the icon top left and it expanded and display my full name and underneath there is 'Priority" .... This is what matters as I need not keep miniumun $1k to avoid FBF :):). No RM never mind .... also don't want the RM to keep contacting for product marketing purposes.

This new app .... everyday discover new information

Unfortunately not 100% understand, thus seeking advice/confirmation here. I do admit my Maths is very poor, failed since Pri 4 :)

Why is it important to understand the maths on how Bonus Interest is calculated? You can trick the system to pay you more interest for the mth!

If your account existed since March:

What is ADB for the mth = total up end of day balance for the mth (ie 30 days for April) / 30

What is incremental ADB for April = ADB April less ADB for March (that's is why you should always keep zero ADB for March)

Bonus interest April = 3.75% * incremental ADB for April/365*30

So the more money you deposit in April, the higher your incremental ADB and BI. If you withdraw, incremental ADB will reduced so BI reduced.

So the trick is, got money towards end of mth, dump in. Withhold withdrawals towards end of mth if you need money, wait till beginning of mth.

Which bank account dun work this way? DBS Multiplier! (I know)

Actually when need money, withdraw. When got money, put in. No need wait for end of month to withdraw and beginning of month to put in. That is the simplicity I like about esaver, no tier, no need for incremental ADB for subsequent month.

English comprehension is also just as important as maths. U can withdraw and deposit anytime. But read carefully what I wrote! If I need to pay credit card/bills, I will delay as much as possible. If I need money, if can delay till next mth the better. If I happened to receive a big sum of money towards end of mth, quickly deposit!

Yes. That's why apply for tbills and SSB on the last 2 days of closing. No need apply early.

And refund for unsuccessful or partial allocation, same day return to esaver (or other bank accounts). Will earn more interest.

DBS Multiplier and CIMB Fastsaver are the only 2 bank accounts I know that dun work this way ie interest calculated based on daily balance and not av mthly bal.

RHB base interest also (not bonus interest)

For credit card, I just do a scheduled transfer when I received the statement and if I happened to receive a big/small sum of money, I just deposit it into esave, whether end or beginning of month.
