Mine was split into 3 payouts this round - 2 payments on 31 Jan and the biggest one today.

I think it's because your ADB for Jan is lower than your ADB for Dec.

the 31 Jan Bonus Interest is paid based on incremental balance from preceding month, whereas the 14 Feb Exclusive Bonus Interest is paid based on total balance on account (after minus the 31 Jan paid amount, if any).

if you add up the two interests on 31 Jan (0.05%) and your 14 Feb interest, they should total to 3.6% (assuming that is the rate you're supposed to enjoy based on the Sep 2023 promo).

Thanks i think youre right man. I just tabulated my dec and jan transactions and got a figure close to what was paid ($5 diff).

Just curious, do deposits/withdrawal on weekends get counted in the ADB for scb? I factored weekends in, maybe thats why i couldnt get exact. Hmm.

Saturday (depending on the time) is counted on the same day but Sunday or PH is counted on the next working day.

Good thing is that after settle my home loan, account had $0.

I even called SCB to request to unlock my account and indicated that their process needs to be corrected so that the bank does not take on risks and customers are not affected. They said to file a police report. I said what do I tell police? I send my own money to my own bank, and now locked? LOL.
is your account unlocked now?

What should be the "correct way" to settle your outstanding loan if sending money to own account resulted in account kena locked? How to avoid this?

Just want to check. For example, if I withdraw all cash from SCB eSaver on 1st Feb 2024, and the account balance is zero for the entire Feb 2024, do I still get interest if I deposit from 1st March 2024, or do I need to wait for 30 days since Feb 2024 has 29 days?

So if the above is correct, I should deposit on 2nd March 2024, right?

Not correct. The amount in March 2024 is still based on the average daily balance in Jan 2024.

Regardless, the promo is based on ADB for JAN 24 (for 1st Feb till 31st Mar promo)
Ideally you should skip this promo and come back on 1st April to check if you had a sizeable amount in your eSaver prior to 1st Feb 2024.

Nay its too late as others stated, but you can consider SYFE Cash+ products. Don't work for them but just suggesting an alternative.

Hi all

Can someone enlighten me what is the difference between 3rd Party SCB Funds Transfer vs Interbank Funds Transfer under limit maintenance with each having a 100K limit. Want to know if it is possible to withdraw 200K on 1st April. TIA!

Edit - Seems like I got it wrong. Bottom half is to set authorisation limit. Max withdrawal is 200K.
