I read in esaver thread, you bought equity to unlock the wealth holding category? Which one you bought?

2.2% is good given current market rate
2.2% only last a few days more. Got to wait for 1st October to see if rates maintain.

Are you Priority? I don't have priority that's why min fees is $10 for Equities. I am with BonusSaver programme which i need buy $20k investment products that's why I one shot bought 20k individual company stock and sold off within the week and leave only the minimum for wealth holding. As individual stocks is risky in nature so no point sharing the ticker. If you want something more stable I think can go for STI ETF or REITS like Starhill Global which u can still collect dividends while you hold. So long as Equities sure got risk. For holding long term for wealth holding i personally take it as buy liao mentally write it off. Not expecting to get anything back. Take it as pay a fee, in exchange for a privilege.

I just notice HSTECH they allow to buy 1 share only. You can go for this just to clock the wealth. Then just leave it there to rot. Most others need minimum 100 shares.
Ticker HST. (No dividends at all. )

Say if I want to put money in to esavers in Oct, when do I need to buy wealth product ..and say if I want to buy local shares in sgx .. is there a minimum to purchase
From what i read and gathered here, it doesn't matter when you buy. So long you have wealth product in your account can already. If you are joining for Oct run, better to wait for Oct t&c to see if there's any change of clause.

  1. Do all ETFs qualify for the wealth holding? Just buy 1 can liao?
  2. Do you have to purchase in the respective promo months? Example for Aug-Sep promo, buy once in Aug and Sep (total 2 purchases), or just buy once in Aug can clock for 2 months promo?
