for those of us who was on invite promotional 1.6% (on full balance) until 31 Oct... will we still get 1.6% for this month, or will be 'upgraded' to the higher 1.8% for public rate?

If you're on the September invite, balance on 30 Sep MUST be >200k higher than 31 Aug.

The criteria test is based on balance on two specific dates, and fresh funds >200k that's all.

For example, if you have 50k in August 31, you can do nothing from 1-29 Sep, but must topup >200k fresh funds by or on 30 Sep. Your balance on 30 Sep must be >250k
On 1st Oct, you're free to zero out or topup with funds from existing SCB accounts.

I messed up big time... I topped up $200k in the beginning of the the month but forgot to make sure to have more than $200k on Sep 30 . Not only did I lose all my interest for Sep, I dont even know which promotion my account is on now.... how to restart eSaver promo again on this account? (Anyone appealed before successfully? )

The current public promo is based on incremental ADB with reference to ADB sept. Not sure about ur sep ADB and whether it is worth to put money in. All depends on ur sep ADB. For the exclusive invite, u might need to wait for the next invitation alr.

Is the exclusive invite acccout or customer specific? In other words, can my single name eSaver account be on the exclusive promotion and joint eSaver account be on the public promotion?

I will assume yes. Please note that the bonus interest will be on the incremental amount only in Aug and sep with reference to July ADB. Did you receive the BI in August?

Can try to appeal if you're a PB tier. I ganna once by trf from existing SCB acct instead of fresh funds. and the RM say unlikely to succeed (probably this is how the product team catch people and earn back their "losses".)

After a few weeks, they paid me the "shortfall" interest of 1.80% or so
but i was kicked out of the exclusive invite. thats when I experienced using $20 MEPS+ to transfer around CIMB, MB, RHB etc until kana KYC checks etc

what do you mean by "kicked out"? you no longer receive any more exclusive invites since that incident?
