You can try to create a APN name call "IMS"
The APN type put ims,ia
MVNO Type: SPN <-- This should be optional.
SPN Value: giga <-- Should auto populate

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Edition officially doesn't support StarHub VoLTE.
After I flashed a customized Modem Firmware that include Singtel, StarHub and M1 VoLTE profile, the Redmi Note 4 Global Edition now is able to establish VoLTE connectivity with giga (StarHub) and Circles (M1). Without the customized modem firmware, only TPG VoLTE is working.

For Smartphone with recent Qualcomm Chipset, most likely you need to make sure the "IMS" APN is created properly and the Telco Profile is enabled at modem firmware level.

I even tested VoLTE on Circles Life using Nokia 6300 4G which run on KaiOS with Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset and it is working very well.
Using Qualcomm PDC Tool, Nokia included many VoLTE telco profile for most of the country.

Funny lo. Some running on my same model phone can Connect mine can't.

I purchased an extra Giga! line and the SIM card was delivered last Monday (13/12). Subsequently I did not need the line so I did not activate it. Now the app and some emails keep reminding me to activate the line.

Does the monthly cycle start on the day of SIM card delivery or activation? What happens if I don’t activate the card?

if you have not collect maybe still have chance to inform them to cancel order.

giga will advise to activate the sim within 1 mth..

billing cycle will on the activation date and time

Bye bye Giga. Thanks for 1 month and 26 days of service. Enjoyed having 50GB rollover + 50GB of data each month.

Ported to MyRepublic. VoLTE straight away, no more issues with disconnections.

Edit:- Oops it's 2 months and 26 days. Bye Giga! Moving on to "The #1 MVNO Service Provider in Singapore (2020, 2021) As voted by readers of HardWareZone and HWM for 2 years running"

i switched out of giga to vivifi also. waiting for my sim card to be delivered.

need some help/brains.

whats the solution for existing users to get the $18 pop up plan?
because it is only for new or port in as unable to assess via change plan. further read notes on web it says the reason

however, one would still want to keep the existing number or is porting out the gomo etc then port back again the only route

--- eta: is ok solutionised: port to gomo. wait for giga promo then port back. also good to monitor gomo reception (actually is for my sis lol cos im on $18)

Certainly there are some issues with GiGa/SH network for the pass 2 months.
I m using GiGa, the APN I use is shwap(had been using it for 1yr), I felt it is faster.
I encountered no network, 4g logo is still there but the volte is gone. After some testing , I switched the APN to GiGa and the network is back, volte logo is also back. While walking to the hawker center for lunch, the same thing happened, and this time I have to switch the APN back to shwap.
Not sure whats wrong, but since December, everything is back normal. No switching of APN is needed, I stick to shwap.

i am on x off. i get a bit lazy to always go redeem aft renewal bill cycle. becos it isnt wide coverage (like 5-10% of the times i use i see 5g) & i don't feel any wow differences (i dont bother doing speed tests)

Agree. Seems less stable lately.

Was doing safe entry check in at the Gardens by the Bay Christmas Wonderland and no connection. Everyone else in the family (Singtel, M1, Vivifi) had no issues. Lucky I had my physical token with me.
