All our operator networks are location-dependent so it's important to know where you are usually and to test - home, work, place of worship, regular marketing, malls, etc...

Since Giga (by extension StarHub) doesn't work for you in your situation, try the others. You might find M1's network works well in your particular use case - if they were really so terrible, they would've shut down a long time ago.

You already know Singtel's network works for you. Since you don't have a contract, why not port out to another and try? If you don't want the hassle, GOMO is decent if you want to stay within the same "subsidiary" tier, or you could explore with the various MVNOs.

If customer support (and speaking to a human) is important to you, consider staying with the main telcos and using their SIM-only plans. They are cheaper than their with-device plans, though likely more expensive than comparative MVNOs. If it helps, they should theoretically have a higher network priority over their MVNO partners (because you wouldn't put down your own main brand over others, right?) However, it is noteworthy that the traffic light telcos now seem to enforce minimum terms with their SIM-only plans, so exploring with a subsidiary/MVNO is a bit more risk-free.

I got trouble porting out from giga. I meet all their requirement already to port out but still cannot port. Contact live agent, 4 hours later, manage to chat, but live agent just say "how can i help you" then she disconnect already. Avoid giga if you can, network mediocre, support lagi worse
2nd that. I'm thinking of moving out of gifa as well. Horrible and lagfest

Is this only to Giga or how about StarHub direct SIM only data conditions? Better io same?
There is no 1 telco that is 100% perfect for everyone.
Depends on your main areas of usage.

I have used SingTel, Circles, Giga, Zero1 and RedOne ( currently )
For me, all were good enough for me except for Circles which was slightly disappointing.

Choose telco whose network coverage works best for you.
No point signing for the * cheapest or best value * plan when it doesn't work for you.

Main Telco will alwyas get priority over MVNO

"RED is the BEST" "Have fun with Airplane Mode telco" "Other Telcos not willing to invest in 5G Infra unlike RED" "RED is the clear winner"

1 X RED SIM Only Plan
2 X RED MVNO SIM Only Plan
3 X RED xxx Plan

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Red got random no network and airplane mode too.

Recently found many good numbers on giga, starting with 888 and ending with number pair behind like 11, 22, 33.
