Any Giga users tried roaming at JB and Melaka area? I may need to travel for work maybe next few months time. 1 - 4 days each. Btw, currently I am using the $18 Giga plan
If you don't have dual Sim card slots, porting over to RedOne or Simba is one option, otherwise, just buy a local Sim.

does your phone support e-sim? If not, I'll suggest you get ICC e-SIM from shopee. I've use that a few times in Malaysia, you can activate the e-SIM before going into Malaysia. Cost around $6 for 3 days I think

Just got in to Giga and immediately thinking of porting out.
Are you worry that Giga may not live up to your expectations?

Yes. Singtel Mvno is better.
Not necessarily. I went from Giga > Zero1 > RedOne. Yes, Zero1 had better signal coverage but I could barely use it for YouTube on the MRT due to slow speeds unless reduce quality to 480p. Now on RedOne, can watch in 720p or 1080p most of the times and added bonus of VOLTE support for my phone.

I was ported in from CMlink. Think the reception much better on CMlink particular indoor.

I was happy with Giga's signal reception. 👍
But I cannot tolerate their ways of not responing to our messages even though they replied to us with a ticket as acknowledgement of receipt.
Multiple follow ups were made yet keeping us in suspense without response and the waiting for their reply continued endlessly.
The other concern is their roaming data which upon activation will last for 5 days.
However, even after the 5th day, I would still have balance roaming data but unable to utlitlize unless I purchase another 1GB for stacking. Eventually I ended up with a full unused 1GB after my trip of 7 days. In short the additional purchase was redundant. :(
