If I use giga roaming in Malaysia KL, what country code to put for GRAB app?
or should I install Grab app in SG first and leave country code as 65?
I continued using my Grab app from singapore, same app, same phone number. Fares were deducted from my SGD wallet under Grab conversion rates.

Hi, am new to giga. Awaiting delivery of SIM card today (12 pm noon deadline but still haven’t arrived). CSO live agent perpetually unavailable and messages cannot be send (error message).

Another issue is I’m gg overseas tmr.. if I put in the SIM card to port on only after returning from overseas, is the current number from previous telco still usable?

Porting has nothing to do with inserting of SIM card, it's processed on the telco side. Usually after it's delivered that night 11 pm will trigger the porting. Your old line will continue to remain active until the port over is triggered then it becomes a dead SIM card and that is when you insert your new SIM card.

Hi all,
Just want to seek some clarification and correct me if I am wrong

Giga just like Gomo , Simba, Maxx are considered as MNVO and the Voice call is actually via the VOLTE
aka voice call is done via data communication...

so if I were to buy an e-sim for data purpose during oversea travel, can i still receive or or make voice call tagging to the e-sim data? The assumption is that I don't want to use the data autoroam plan given by the MNVO,,,

TIA for all responses !

FYI even though the voice calls are over 4G data, it’s still counted as regular calling deducted from your bundled minutes.

i am no concerned with the call time...

i just want to know does it work if I just use the data from the e-sim and off the data associated with the MVNO or MNO service provider
