I signed up for giga port in last night (18 may) for delivery of sim card tmr (20 may). Was charged yesterday upon arranging of delivery.

My plan will start yesterday (18 may) or tmr (20 may) or upon successful port in?

It starts the moment you activate the SIM card regardless of porting status.

Thanks! I need to activate the sim before porting can happen? The CSO told me I don't have to do anything since I selected port in during sign up.
And was also told that port in will take 1 to 3 working days upon receipt of the sim card. Most cases took only 1 day right?

I'm trying to port over from Gomo to Giga and after 2 working days, still not ported over. Today I tried contacting the live agent in the app and finally they checked and told me port in unsuccessful and I need to check with Gomo myself as to why it is unsuccessful. Alternative is to request for port in again (which I did) and I will need to wait for tonight for the result. This is the worst port in I have ever experienced. When I changed to Circles life, M1 and Gomo, I had no issues with porting in.

do they use Singpost normal mail to deliver sim card? or need to sign?

SIM Card will never be mailed by any telcos or mvnos. Giga will send a courier to send you the sim card. You need to furnish your IC for verification.

I ported in from Circles Life, smooth transition for me. Give a little time, circuit breaker affects everything.

My number finally ported over to Giga at around midnight. :)
